NORD Brings its Innovative Food & Beverage Range to Brisbane for FoodTech

FoodTech Queensland takes place in July at the Brisbane Convention Centre. Showcasing an appetite for innovation, this show is the place to be for the latest advancements in food and beverage technologies.

As part of their commitment to the industry and local market, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS will be showcasing its targeted, high quality solutions at this year’s show. The company prides itself on delivering individual drive solutions for the industry which offer energy savings, reduced maintenance, minimum downtime and are designed to the stringent standards of the food and beverage sector.

Over the past few years, NORD has let one of the latest additions to its product portfolio speak for itself. The NSD TupH has been tested in some of the harshest and most demanding environments and the results speak for themselves.

Its unique and resistant surface is a cost-effective and reliable alternative to stainless steel and has stood the test of time in manufacturing environments around the country. Its corrosion resistant, cleanable, sealed surface delivers all the benefits without compromising on quality. Its surface is 6 – 7 times harder than the aluminum substrate and up to 1000 times harder than paint!

Martin Broglia, Managing Director for NORD Drivesystems in Australia says that the response to this product has been remarkable. “While the benefits do speak for themselves, getting customers to change from their current solutions is always tricky. What we found is that this product really does all the leg work and has been proven time and time again – with very little effort from our side”.

“Visitors to the show can come and see the product for themselves. We are also happy to take them through some our successes to date and to find out more about their requirements,” says Martin.

Another product to be featured on their stand will be the IE4 range of synchronous motors – built for high efficiencies and low operating costs.

“Again, NORD keeps your TCO in mind when developing our products. We understand the investment that you have made and want to see it through all the way” he continues.

High efficiency levels of the IE4 range are based on permanent magnet technology which NORD has specially designed. Even at low speeds, these units achieve high torques and excellent efficiency.

“When looking at the ‘life cycle costs’ of drive solutions, it’s important to take a holistic stance on this. Here we factor in every aspect – starting from the point of purchase, commissioning, use and maintenance through to disposal”.

Over the past few years, NORD has invested significantly at exhibitions such as this one. Martin says that it’s an honour to travel the country and speak to various customers and prospective customers about their range. “There truly is so much scope out there and we look forward to meeting all the visitors at FoodTech Queensland 2019”.

Visit NORD at stand H24 from 28 to 30 July 2019.
