The innovative Bladestop System is designed to act fast enough to avoid major injury to the operator and reduce the frequency of amputations. Bladestop provides simple and safe operation that mechanically stops the blade when the control unit determines a person has made contact with the blade. Blade is stopped within 9 milliseconds of sensing a person’s body to prevent further travel. It offers a choice of three sensor strap positions - arm, wrist or waist. All options provide the operator with the same standard of effectiveness while ensuring maximum comfort, convenience and suitability for the site operator. Each sensor band has been ergonomically designed with button clips for fast and easy attachment and removal.
