JBT High Pressure Pasteurization (HPP) is cold pasteurization in pure water; it uses ultra-high pressure purified water to keep packaged food pathogen-free to stay fresh longer. At very high pressures bacteria such as Listeria, E.coli and Salmonella are inactivated.
