Dr Ciara McDonnell is a Senior Research Scientist at CSIRO, Australia’s National Science Agency. She is the Team Leader for Food Materials and is based at Coopers Plains in Brisbane. Ciara holds a PhD in meat science and her career has provided a balance of commercial and academic experiences. Ciara’s research interests align with value-adding, novel food processing technologies and objective measurement technologies for tasty, healthy and sustainable foods.
